Root Canal Therapy

Inside your teeth is a soft tissue called pulp that contains nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue. Sometimes that tissue can become inflamed or infected from decay, a cracked tooth, or even severe tooth trauma. That inflammation or infection will affect the nerves in your teeth, causing you pain. When that happens, often the proper treatment is root canal therapy.

Despite its reputation as a painful procedure, a root canal is actually relatively simple procedure, and no more uncomfortable than a typical dental filling. And when it is completed the pain from the damaged pulp will be gone, and your tooth will be restored for a lifetime of continued use.
